With the aim of further strengthening the quality of its service and its customers’ experience, Quimetal implemented a new technology that allows customers to track their orders in real time, providing greater visibility, transparency, and control throughout international maritime transport to the location agreed upon with the customer.
This initiative, driven by Quimetal’s Customer Service department, enabled the implementation of an online technology platform that allows international customers to easily and directly access the status of their purchase orders in transit, the location of their shipments, and other relevant milestones in international transportation.
The platform allows customers, using an access key provided by Quimetal, to check the status and location of their purchase orders, strengthening communication and traceability throughout the logistics process.
At the same time, the platform allows users to view the order status—at port, in transit, during transshipments, being unloaded, upon arrival at its destination, or with the order fully closed—via geographic markers. Additionally, it integrates features such as courier tracking, purchase orders, and an overall status of logistics operations.
This platform represents a step forward in the digitization of Quimetal’s logistics processes, bringing greater efficiency, traceability, and confidence, and reaffirming its commitment to delivering a high-standard service for international exports.
